that will be delivered to the less fortunate. All donations will be very much appreciated.
Please be reminded, if you are able, to donate non- perishable goods at the union office and they will be distributed to the less fortunate for the Christmas Season. There is also a cash donation box for the same.
The President has declared a vacancy on the Executive Board. Interested members please forward their applications to the Executive Board. Vacancies occurring in any Local Union office shall be filled by the Local Union Executive Board until the next regular election. (IBEW Constitution, Article 16, Section 16)

Reminder: You are required to carry your C of Q and Apprenticeship Documents with you at all times while at work. When asked by a representative from the Dept. of Labour to produce these documents and you are unable to do so you will be removed from the jobsite and or receive a fine. The required documents are a valid, up to date C of Q issued by the Province of Ontario, an Interprovincial C of Q or apprenticeship documents issued by the Province of Ontario. Recently some employers are also asking for these documents as they too may receive a fine.
To remove “All classifications not working under the terms of the Local Union Construction Agreement(s)
Basic Dues shall be $25.00 per month” from Article X, Section 7 (a) of the Local 894 Bylaws.
The existing Local 894 Bylaw states as follows:
Section 7. The monthly dues shall be:
(a) “A” Members: All Classifications
Basic Dues: $1.00
Working Dues: plus 2% of Journeymen’s gross pay
All classifications not working under the terms of the Local Union Construction
Agreement(s): Basic Dues shall be $25.00 per month (no working dues)
(b) Applicable International per capita and assessments to be paid in addition to the above dues.
